The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested three members of banned Islamist outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahidin Bangladesh (JMB) from the capital's Savar in a raid in the early hours of Friday.
The detective wing team from RAB headquarters, in collaboration with RAB-4, also recovered jihadi literature and leaflets from the JMB activists.
The arrested radicals are Jaypurhat's Shariful Islam Likhan, 32, Dinajpur's Shahinur Rahman Shahin, 22, and Kurigram's Chainur Rahman Babul, 24.
Among them, Likhan is a life convict in the series bomb attack case of Aug 17.
RAB law and media wing assistant director Walid said the detained militants will be presented before reporters at noon at the RAB headquarters.
